Hi, guys —

I am a practicing Catholic.

  • Can I use essential oils to make homemade perfume?
  • Can I use essential oils for health, anxiety, or depression benefits?
  • Can I use essential oils to help with respiratory illnesses?

Please advise.

Thank you for your time.

God Bless.

Christine

Paul replied:

Dear Christina,

I know very little about the use of 'essential oils' as a trend, which is occurring today. However, it seems to me that if you use the oils — which are natural by-products of vegetables — with no spiritual or occult intention, there wouldn't be a problem.

In other words, if oil is used for food or medicinally, and you're not piggy-backing on any so-called spiritual or occult wish or claim, it's probably fine.

Let's see if my colleagues would like to add anything to this.

Paul

Christine replied:

Paul,

Thank you for your response.

God Bless!

Christine

Paul replied:

Christine —

You're welcome.

Paul
